Ecovillages in the UK

At this time the ideals embodied by 'ecovillage' are very much still ideals being worked towards. Our list of projects contains no fully fledged ecovillages which feature all the elements and systems of a fully sustainable village. In fact, there are only a handful of projects worldwide which come close to this. Of the projects we have listed, all contain at least some features of ecovillage, and are mostly aspiring towards more.
